TV Shows You Should Be Watching

I am a huge lover of TV shows, I'm always watching a new TV show and I can't go very long not having something to watch. So today I thought I would write about my favourite TV shows.

Pretty Little Liars, this is a pretty popular TV show and so most people have probably heard of this. I can't go into much detail about this without giving anything away but it's basically about a girl who goes missing and everything just grows from there. The first few episodes are very girly and 'teeny' but if you get through them it gets so much better, trust me!

The 100, This is something that I am currently watching but I am loving it so much at the moment!! It is about a world after a nuclear war where people are living in space hoping they can live back on Earth soon. I have nearly finished season 1 and it is currently part way through season 2 so I haven't got much left to watch.

The Vampire Diaries, this is my favourite ever TV show, I absolutely love it. There's not a very good way to describe it but trust me, it's amazing! Also kind of related to this, I also love The Originals which is a spin off from The Vampire Diaries.

Broadchurch, I also really love Broadchurch, it is basically about a little boy who goes missing. The second series has just ended, it is absolutely amazing and I recommend it to anyone! It also stars David Tennant (who I adore).

So they were all of my current favourite TV shows and if you haven't, you should definitely check some of these out.
Thank you for reading, hope you have a lovely day.

MAC Patisserie

So I have spoke about some of my MAC lipsticks in a few other posts, (Russian Red, Velvet Teddy) so today I'm going to talk about Patisserie.

This was my first MAC lipstick that I bought, I have probably used it the most out of all of them aswell as it is such a wearable shade.

It is definitely a 'your lips but better' shade, it is a lustre and so has a really nice, glossy finish.
Unfortunately it doesn't have great lasting power, I find I do have to reapply this many times during  the day but I still use it so much as the shade is just so pretty.

I definitely would recommend this to someone who wants a really subtle lipstick and who probably doesn't wear a lot of makeup.

You can buy this here for £15.50

Thank you for reading, let me know what your favourite MAC lipstick is.

MUA Highlighting Powder

So today I thought I would do a review on the MUA Highlighting Powder, I've had this for quite some time now and I use it quite often so here it goes.

When I really quickly want a nice highlight, I always reach for this, it is a beautiful pink-champagne colour and it has just the right amount of shimmer.

There are only two things about this product that I dislike, first is that the packaging broke really quickly and really easily, this means its not really great for travelling any more as it just falls apart. Also if you apply too much of this, it doesn't look great so you definitely need to tap off the excess on your brush.

This was probably one of the first highlights that I bought and I still use it now.

You can buy this from superdrug for just £3 which is such a good price. If you want a really affordable highlighter, I would definitely suggest this.

I'm looking around for some more highlighters to try at the moment, so please let me know what your favourite highlighter is.

Thank you for reading.

Procrastinating Beauty Blogger Tag

I'm just going to admit it, I've been so rushed and busy this week I've had next to no time to take and edit photos and write beauty posts to a standard that I'm happy with. This means that I'm going to do the Procrastinating Beauty Blogger Tag today, I think this has been around for quite some time but I always love reading these sorts of posts so I thought, why not?

1. Name a beauty regimen you rarely do I definitely don't do my full on morning and night skincare routine very often. I am so lazy in a morning and so I do the bare minimum and on a night all I want to do is get into bed.

2. Is washing your make up brushes something you do regularly? Unfortunately not, I always leave washing them till the very last minute. It is such a chore and although using my brushes is so much better after, I just can't bring myself to do it.

3. How long will you last with chipped nail polish? I've usually took my nail varnish off before it chips as I love changing the colour of my nails but if they have chipped, I'll just re paint them as soon as I have a spare minute.

4. How long will you put off buying/replacing a beauty product, even if you need it? I will usually buy what I need before it runs out, when I notice I need a new one, I'll order it online.

5. What's your worst beauty habit? Using wipes to take off my make up, I know some people do this every day and it works great  for them but my skin hates it when I use wipes but it takes so little effort I can't resist!!

6. Name some non-beauty related you put off doing? Doing my school work, there are so many other things I would rather do, so I do them. I hate it, but it's what I seem to do.

7. When you're going somewhere, do you leave it to the last minute? Not at all, getting ready is my favourite part of going somewhere, I leave myself loads of time.

8. Can you commit to spending bans? Nope, not at all. If there's an offer on anywhere and I get an email, I can't resist. FeelUnique especially, I get so many emails from them and pretty much every time I buy something, I'm the worst!!

9. How organised are your make up/nail varnish collections? At the moment, quite organised. Although that'll probably go down the drain soon.

Thank you for reading, I hope you enjoyed reading what I had to say.

Top 3 Nail Varnishes

I haven't got the largest collection of nail varnish but I do enjoy painting my nails and changing up the colour pretty much every other day. I thought I would share a few of my most used/favourite nail polish.

First of all is OPI I'm Feeling Sashy, this is such a beautiful colour. It applies so well and it will last for quite a while without chipping. I had seen this colour and I was so desperate for it but I saw that it had been discontinued but I was at a little shop a while back and I found it, I have this on so much and if you see it, you should definitely try it out.

Next is Ciate Pillow Fight, I got this in a Ciate advent calendar so it sucks that this is only a mini size but I absolutely adore it, I wanted a grey nail varnish for a long time and so when I got this I was very happy, I love the brushes on the Ciate nail varnishes and so this is perfect for me.

Lastly is Barry M Black, I've already gone through one of these as I wear it quite a lot, I love wearing black nail varnish and the Barry M nail varnishes are really good value for money so I love this.

Thank you for reading, let me know what your favourite nail varnishes are, I really want to try out some more.

My Favourite Disney Films

When winding down after a long day, there's nothing that I love to do more than lay in bed and watch a good film and some of the best to watch are obviously Disney films, so I thought I would share a few of my favourites!

1. My absolute favourite Disney film is Tangled (and probably my favourite film altogether) I don't know why I love it so much but it's absolutely amazing! It is an adaptation of Rapunzel and I strongly recommend it to everyone. It is definitely one of those films where you can watch it over and over without getting bored and it's been added onto NOW TV which means I watch it day after day.

2. Beauty and the Beast is such a classic, I love the music so so much and so it just makes me love the film. I always wanted to be Belle growing up and so this will always be a favourite of mine.

3. My sister loves Pocahontas so I've watched this many times and it's just amazing!! If you haven't watched this (I'm sure pretty much everyone has though) you definitely should.

4. Lastly are the Princess Diaries films, these aren't typical Disney films but I do love watching them (the fact that Chris Pine is in the second one does help quite a bit though) I don't know why I still love them but I definitely do.

After writing this I definitely feel a Disney marathon coming soon! Thank you for reading and let me know what your favourite Disney films are.

Benefit Roller Lash // First Impressions

As soon as I saw that in this months ELLE magazine there would be a sample of the Benefit Roller Lash, I absolutely knew I had to purchase it. As a lover of the They're Real Mascara I was really excited to buy this.

The product was designed to curl your eyelashes to the point that you don't need to use an eyelash curler any more.

It definitely did what it claimed to do, I applied two coats but then found that my eye lashes were a little clumped together to I had to comb through them but I love how my eyelashes look. I do naturally have quite long lashes but this definitely added length and volume as well.

I really want to buy this when it is properly released as I have loved it, this is so much better than my current mascara and I definitely love it more than They're Real.

This isn't released until March and it will be £19.50 but if you're quick you can get it with an ELLE magazine now for £4.

Thanks for reading

MAC Velvet Teddy

I briefly mentioned this product in my Current Favourite Lip Products post but I wanted to go more into detail about this.

Velvet Teddy is a matte lipstick, which is my favourite finish so this tempted me even more to purchase this. It is a 'Kylie Jenner' shade as it a dark, nude colour and I was very unsure as to whether I wanted to buy this because I didn't think it would suit me but I am so glad that I did, it is absolutely gorgeous,

This applies like a dream and last for absolutely ages.
I always get asked what I am wearing when I put this on and I really do recommend this,

You can purchase this here for £15.50.
Thank you for reading, let me know what your favourite lipstick is.

Benefit Watt's Up Highlighter

I got this product the Christmas before last and I instantly fell in love with it, I had desperately been searching for a highlighter that I liked for quite some time and this definitely was a great purchase,

This is a cream highlighter and gives a beautiful champagne glow, I always apply this on my cheekbones but you can apply it down your nose and on your brow bone as well if you want.

You can't see it too much in this picture but you can get a bit of an idea as to what it looks like.

This has lasted me for so long, hardly any of it has gone and over the last year I have used it so many times. This can look really natural, which is how I like prefer it to look and so if you're looking for a new highlighter I strongly recommend you check this out.
You can purchase this for £24.50 here.

Thank you for reading.
